Welcome to the Rock Creek Jazz website!

Please enjoy the music, buy our music, and let us know if you need good music or good advice in person. We will be adding more performances to the site over time, so please check back!

Rock Creek Jazz is Bill Broderick, Bob Williams, and Roger St. Vincent, lovers of guitar music, particularly jazz. Bill and Bob have written much of the music, but we also perform a wide range of blues, bebop, and swing. While we primarily play as the trio of Roger, Bob and Bill, we also enjoy performing with groups we put together that consist of a number of our friends from a wide variety of musical backgrounds.

Rock Creek Jazz often performs with vocalist Luci Murphy. With a voice of rich red velvet, Luci sings in many languages and draws on the musical idioms of many cultures, as well as her own roots in classic American blues, spirituals, and jazz.

We also have years of experience teaching in various contexts, and can easily incorporate an educational element to our performances whether about our instruments, the music, or improvisation as a life-skill or a musical tool.
